Watch TV, on Your Computer

Saturday April 21, 2007

blinkxThere are many places to watch free video clips online, and many other place, like iTunes or Amazon, to purchase and download videos online. Well, did you know that there's also a place where you can find and sort through these myriad video offerings? It's call Blinkx.

Blinkx is a dedicated video search engine that constantly sifts through videos posted all over the web. When you type in your search terms, Blinkx will deliver relevant results and allow you to watch the video clips whether they are posted on YouTube, Yahoo! Video or some obscure site.

Their new offering, Blinkx Remote offers users the same kind of help in finding full length TV shows posted on the web. Search for a show, and Blinkx Remote will tell you where you can download it, and how much it costs. Or, click on the little remote in the top right corner of the homepage, and you'll be taken to a list of ALL the TV shows available for download from the web.

The real beauty of Blinkx Remote is it's simplicity. No more remembering which shows are sold on iTunes, and which must be purchased direct from the network. Just go to Blinkx, run a search, and you'll be taken right where you need to be.
