More Videos in Weird Places

Thursday February 28, 2008

Seriously, though, web videos is showing up everywhere now.

I was just grabbing some tax information at the Massachusetts Department of Revenue web site when, to my surprise, I see them promoting their new video. DORM, or Department of Revenue Media, is a new branch of the state agency that produces videos explaining different aspects of the state tax system. I definitely didn't expect to see an organization like this embracing the new technology so eagerly.

As a video producer, I think it's awesome to see new industries and organizations using web video in their marketing, and I look forward to seeing where it will show up next. What's the most unusual use of streaming video you've seen lately?
