The Future of Movies

HD-DVDs may be a thing of the past, but that doesn't necessarily mean that Blu-ray will rule the movie markets of the future.

Even with the format uncertainty gone, many experts are predicting that Blu-ray technology still has a formidable competitor: movie downloads. As yet, there is no easy service for downloading and watching HD content, but it's coming soon. And consumers may hold off on buying an expensive Blu-ray player, hoping instead they'll be able to get HD right through their home computer.
