I've written here before of the migration of television program from the airwaves (or the cable box, as is more commonly the case) to the internet. Most of the networks offer some programming online, and web sites like Hulu and Veoh TV are aggregating shows and making it easier for viewers to find and watch their favorites.
CBC, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, is taking internet TV to a whole new level by offering free downloads of programs through the peer-to-peer file sharing network Bit Torrent. This article from the BBC News gives a fascinating look at how CBC used internet video to engage audiences and distribute programming. It may just be the future of television broadcasting.
