Don't Use DVD Sticky Labels!

By , About.com GuideJuly 15, 2009

Follow me on:

Someone just walked into my video production company office with a stack of DVDs he'd made in iMovie and burned in iDVD. He wanted to know why the disks wouldn't play properly, and when I looked at the beautiful stick-on labels he'd designed, I had the answer. These labels are notorious for interfering with DVD playback, yet they continue to be marketed and sold to unwitting video hobbyists looking for an easy way to add an attractive label to their disks. Spread the word about these problematic labels - let's get them off the shelves before more DVD projects are ruined!
