Effect In, Effect Out:To apply the effect to only part of the video clip, move the sliders to the places/times when you want the effect to begin and end. Leave them both set to 0:00 to apply the effect to the entire clip.

Rotate: This slider adjusts the place where the lightning strike comes in from the edge of the frame. CW will move it clockwise; CCW will move it counter clockwise.

Adjust the location where the lightning strikes by moving the yellow locator in the preview window.
