iMovie Beginners' Guide - Open a New iMovie Project and Import Media

Add Audio to Your iMovie

iMovie makes it easy to access music that is already stored on your computer. Click on the Media button, then Audio.

Select iTunes and your music library will open up within iMovie. From there just pick the files that you want and drag them to your timeline.

If the audio file that you want to use isn't stored in iTunes you can import it by going to File > Import... and browsing for it.
