Final Cut Pro is an editing software that is the favorite of students and professional video editors alike. Although Final Cut X was released in 2011, many people still prefer the classic feel and reliable workflow of Final Cut Pro 7.
This introduction to Final Cut Pro 7 will highlight the main components of the software, as well as provide a brief overview of the FCP workflow.
A quick note: sometimes the windows in FCP 7 may be jumbled up by someone who previously used the program. In order to achieve the same layout as pictured in this tutorial, go to the Window menu, which is next to Help, choose Arrange, and then click Standard.
