Hard Disk

Definition:

A Hard Disk is a digitally encoded storage device that stores data on rapidly rotating platters called digital wafers. These wafers can both read (view stored content) and write (manipulate stored content). A Hard Disk refers to the entire computer unit, which can contain multiple wafers.
