In conjunction with its site overhaul, YouTube has redesigned channel pages, giving users lots more options for promoting their videos and their activity. The above screenshot is from the YouTube channel for my business, Video4Good Studios.
Eventually this channel re-design will be rolled out automatically to all users. For now (as of February 2012) users have the option to use the original channel design, or to switch to this new look.
It's basically a two-column layout, featuring channel and promotional information down the right side, and videos and playlists on the left. The left column has three tabs - Featured, Feed and Videos. The Featured Tab shows selected videos and playlists; the Feed Tab displays all of your YouTube activity, including uploads, subscriptions and comments; and the Videos Tab is a list of your uploaded videos or playlists.
I highly recommend switching over now because, as you'll see as you move through this article, there are a lot of great features that you don't want to miss out on for any longer. To get started, click on the Edit Channel button in the top right corner.
