Indie Films, YouTube Style

YouTube is hoping to attract indie film audiences with its new Screening Room, introduced this week. There, you can see independent films from around the world. Some of the films are excellent--they've won prestigious awards and been shown in film festivals, they're just not the type of thing you'd run across on cable tv or at your local cineplex. Filmmakers interested in having their work featured in the Screening Room should send an email to ytscreeningroom@youtube.com.
