YouTube in Wide Screen

Tuesday November 25, 2008

youtube playerWhen you go to YouTube you'll see a new look on the site. All of the videos have been converted to play in 16x9 wide screen format, instead of the standard 4x3 format. Of course, most of the videos that have been uploaded to the site in the past are 4x3, so they'll play with black bars on the side of the video screen.

About time we have black bars on the sides of our 4X3 vids? No way. This new 16X9 is pretty good for widescreen uploads though.
