CombatVids.com is an interesting site that covers events that have taken place in the war in Iraq and Afghanistan, along with boot camp information and just plain humorous moments that allow non-military citizens the ability to see that our military men and women are people just like us; they can have fun and also heroically serve their country.
There are many different categories covered on this web site that allow viewers to see what is taking place in the war, as well as the human side of the men and women serving their country. Some videos that you might find of interest are “Armored Donkey-Iraq”, “Funny Military Moments Compilation”, “Destroying Weapons”, and “Recon Convoy Patrol in Iraq”.
CombatVids.com is not the most well organized site that you will go to, but you will find many videos of interest here. The only option you have for searching on this site is to view a list of the Latest Videos, Top Videos, or Random Videos; unfortunately you cannot search for a particular topic.
The videos are clean and play quickly, but you cannot view them full screen on this site. You do not need any special software to watch the videos on CombatVids.com.
You cannot email or embed the videos on this site. However if you right click on the icon for the video you like you can email the link for the video. As for uploading your own videos, this option is not available.
