CSTV - Free College Sports Videos Online

By Gretchen Siegchrist, About.com

Overview of CSTV:

CSTV.com is a website dedicated exclusively to college sports. While many video sharing websites are overcrowded with links and full of distracting ads, CSTV.com has a very clean look, is easy to use and well-organized, and features more than four thousand videos.

What can I watch on CSTV?:

There's almost too much to choose from on CSTV. You can search by school, by sport, by rating, by popularity, or just scroll through their latest uploads. The site features videos from hundreds of colleges, universities and even a few high schools, so there's no shortage of choices.

What do CSTV videos look like?:

CSTV videos play on a three-inch-by-three-inch screen. They can be a little glitchy, and they all feature an ad for the Air Force before the video that can't be skipped; more frustrating is the fact that the video player controls (pause, stop, etc) disappear once the video starts playing. The video quality is quite good, although there is a certain amount of stopping and starting when a video plays faster than it can load.

How do I watch CSTV videos?:

You need Windows Media Player to view CSTV videos.

Additional Features on CSTV:

CSTV has a few useful extra features. Below each video is a URL you can use to link to the video and HTML code you can copy and paste to embed the video in another website. There are also a number of search categories to help you narrow down your selection.

How much do CSTV videos cost?:

CSTV videos are free.
